GHHS Sport Boosters is a parent volunteer organization. Parent participation across all seasons and sports, help build greater school and community spirit and pride. Your membership will provide direct financial support for our sports programs, will allow you for one vote (per member), and will help ensure that the GHHS Sport Boosters can continue to operate as a 501C3 and assist our various sports teams.
4) What is the Membership Fee for and how are they being used?
The primary source of income for our GHHS Sport Boosters general fund is the Membership fees.
5) Any other ways to support boosters?
YES! We are always in need of volunteers.

1) What is the GHHS Sport Boosters Mission?
Our goal is to promote team and school enthusiasm, pride in our sportsmanship, and broadening community involvement.
2) What DOES the GHHS Sport Boosters Do?
- In the 2021-2022 fiscal year alone, the GHHS Sport Boosters processed about 500 transactions through our website -- around 50% of those were team specific totaling close to $30,000.
- We currently maintain and track balances for 25 teams, in addition to the weight room and our general funds.
- From five (5) members, we grew our membership up to 109 to date.
- We raised roughly $185,000 from our annual spring auction and capital campaign last April 2022, to improve the work-out facility of our students and athletes. Proceeds went 100% to the weight room.
- For the first time, we conducted a Fireworks Stall Fundraiser which raised $8,000 and split revenue between our boosters' general fund and the athletes who represented their sports program.
- We granted several "smaller" teams $1,000.00 (each) from our general fund.
- We've built a small, but growing, social media following to help raise awareness about our Boosters' program, recognize athletes and to raise awareness about causes that impact/support our student athletes.

- The funds are used to cover operational costs to continue operating as a 501C3
- To support our sports programs' needs, outside of district funding and defray some, if not all, of the costs of equipment, gear, and other team needs that are not covered by the district.
- Each academic year, GHHS Sport Boosters awards two (2) $500.00 scholarships (total $1,000.00) through the GH Tides Scholarship Foundation.
